Purpose of this back valve is to prevent water access into the ozonizer. Back valve has got a special membrane (Viton).
Sometimes it is available in black colour, otherwise it is supplied in naturally white plastic.
Installation note:
Imprinted arrow on the back valve directs towards the injector.
